Unmaßplatten

We have more than 10.000 m2 of slabs of 20 and 30 mm thickness on stock.
Measures and pictures of all the slabs are ready to be sent by email.
Surfaces can be honed, polished or variously processed like brushed, sand-blasted, antiqued, flamed. See the section Working for details about it.

Internal walls can be completely paneled with any material. As regards the external surfaces, you have to pay attention to the low temperature and choose the more suitable material.
Tiles 10 mm thick can be used for wall coverings, as regards their format (see Tiles).
Bigger sizes must be produced from the slabs. The covering format can be :
• FIXED, square or rectangular, i.e. 60x60 cm or 30x60 cm;
• EXPLOITATION-SLAB : in order to reduce production costs, it is advisable to choose a format suitable for the surface to be covered and for the slab, the so called exploitation -slab format. The final sizes are usually from 50x50 to 70x70 cm;
• CUSTOMIZED, a sub-multiple of the covering surface.

Veiny materials can also be laid using the OPEN-BOOK technique, see "Gallery Products" section, pictures 1.16 and 2.2.

Bodenbeläge und Fliesen

The block can be cut into strips of 1, 1,5 and 2 cm thick. From the strips we get the floor, random length or fixed size. See the above mentioned table.
The TILES are produced in 1 cm thick only. They are polished, calibrated and beveled, then packed into boxes. They are ready to be laid with glue, both on the floor and on the wall.
The FREE LENGTH FLOORS have fixed width, 30 or 40 cm, and variable length, from 45 till 80 cm. They are unbeveled All the floors (not the tiles) can be supplied with rough face (in case of polishing after the laying).

Truck : 1 pallet = no. 38 boxes on wooden platform, covered with nylon, weight 940 kg, quantity 35,34 m2.
Container : 1 crate = no. 30 boxes in a closed wooden crate, covered with nylon, weight 800 kg, quantity 27,90 m2.

Natural stone is the best thermal conductor, making it suitable to be used with radiant floor heating systems.
What is a radiant floor heating system?
The idea is that warm water (from 30 to 40 C) is circulated in lines on a special surface (polystyrene or PVC; see photo on side) underneath the surface of the floor. Heat radiating from the water lines creates a warm, comfortable, floor when marble is installed above the heating system. Marble works especially well with radiant floor heat because marble is a conductor of heat. Interestingly, the best thermal conductors available are diamonds, silver, metal and then stone.

Treppenbeläge

The most common features of the stairs are :
• steps 3 cm thick, risers 2 cm thick
• normal edge
• flight skirting
All these items can be vary according to the taste and/or the specifications of the support which shall be covered. By our opinion, the most aesthetic factor is the edge (see section Working/edge).

Fertigwaren

... that is to say everything that is made-to-measure, starting from a drawing or a shape : plane or open-book wall coverings, tables, bathroom and kitchen tops, window sills, door and window surrounds, steps, skirting, floors with special decorations, borders and profils Our staff is at your disposal for advice and design studying.

Kirchliche Einrichtungen

We produce items by drawing for religious architecture. As we have the blocks, we are able to work them in any format, such us big thickness for the altar tops or quarry split faces pieces and others. We can produce ambos, altars, tabernacle column, solid steps and other items like plates with engraved letters, coverings, baseboards and so on.

Kamine und Sonderstücke

The processing of solid pieces like baluster, sinks, columns, shower trays, shelves etc. begins by sectioning the block in cubes or parallelepipeds. Those are then carved, turned, chiseled and finished by our skilled craftsman. The charm and endurance in time of a solid piece is unmatched.

Each item is custom piece. The fireplaces only can be classified upon several models, as they have quite regular sizes. Pictures, brochure and technical cards are available by request. Some pictures in the section Products Gallery/fireplaces.

For several years we have been making marble cooking plates used in industrial ovens for the production of bread. These plates are pieces of about 22 mm thickness with very particular cuts and cavities on the edges, worked with the precision that the mechanical industry requires.

Customised pieces for urban furniture are available for production as well.

Dekoration, Mosaik, Profile

Our range of materials can be considered as a colours palette. Why not to use it then to create multicolored decorative elements?

We produce frames, bulls, non artistic mosaics (pre-assembled on a net), tumbled rosettes and flooring decorations.

For instance a frame on a wall can divide two coverings or refer to the material on the floor; bulls are suitable to "visually" terminate wall coverings or to frame wall mirrors; the mosaic embellish an environment and is suitable for curved surfaces (such as baths); an entrance hall gains prestige when personalized with a nice decoration such as a marble star or a rosette.
